HISTORY:

United Beverages of North Carolina, LLC, was formed by the merger of four companies: The Blue Ridge Distributing Company, Piedmont Distributors, Proctor Wholesale, and Rowan Distributing. These four successful companies merged to be more competitive in the alcoholic beverage industry. United Beverages Salisbury Branch is moving to Concord, NC in June 2021.

Job Purpose

We are looking for an Office Supervisor to direct the branch administrative functions by overseeing the office staff and ensuring that the office operations run smoothly. The Office Supervisor work closely with leadership to support and streamline daily activities and assist with projects. Included in the responsibilities of the Office Supervisor are administrative responsibilities, such as maintaining accounts receivable, preparing excise tax reports and overseeing customer file maintenance using route accounting software.

Snapshot of Responsibilities

Develop office staff members by directing their actions and ensuring their duties are completed.
Motivate, train & retain office staff members in order to meet established company objectives.
Assist CAO on project-based work.
Prepare A/R deposits, verify EFTs, prepares bill-backs, and resolves A/R delinquencies and issues.
Assisting with the management of Pricing and Price Promotions.
Understand the duties of office staff members and serve as backup for each office staff member.

Qualifications

Minimum Education Level: Bachelors Degree or equivalent, five or more years of related experience or equivalent combination of education & experience
Minimum of 5 years of administrative/office experience (specifically Excel)
Strong computer skills, experience with Microsoft Office Tools & ability to learn new software/apps
Efficient time management skills & ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
Knowledgeable of compliance with State ALE/ABC regulations
